A Silicon Valley attempt at a Twitter alternative
T2, later renamed Pebble, was a Silicon Valley startup that raised $1.2M and launched in the wake of Elon Musk's acquisition of Twitter. I helped build the platform for a year, from November 2022 to October 2023, working on a Golang backend and a Nuxt front end alongside engineers from Google and Discord. Beyond feature work I coordinated work across the engineering team and improved how we ran it, wrote a custom Golang queue worker, deployed and maintained the infrastructure, and acted as SRE for the platform.
